Common Questions
Are quotes really free?
Yes, every quote is free and no-obligation, and always has been. We do quote visits on Saturday mornings too, so you don't have to take time off work. You'll have your written quote within 24 hours of the visit.
How much will my job cost?
Every yard is different. Slope, access, materials and size all change the price, which is exactly why our quotes are free. What we promise: an honest, itemised quote, and honest advice. If a smaller job will do what you need, we'll tell you, even when it costs us money.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. We hold a QBCC licence for Structural Landscaping (lic. no. 15089762), required for retaining walls over 1 metre, and carry $20 million public liability insurance. Everyone on the crew holds a white card.
How soon can you start?
It depends on the season and the size of the job. We'll give you an honest start date with your quote, and once it's booked, we turn up when we say we will.
Do I need to be home for the quote or the work?
For the quote it helps to walk the yard together, but if you can't be there, photos and a phone chat usually do the trick. For the work itself, you don't need to be home, we just need access to the yard, water and power.
What happens to the green waste?
It all goes with us. Every job ends with a full blower-down and all green waste removed, included in your quote, not an extra. We also offer green waste removal as a standalone service.
What does your guarantee cover?
All hardscaping - paving, retaining walls and decking - is covered by our 12-month workmanship guarantee. Plants we supply and plant are covered by a 3-month establishment guarantee: if one dies despite being watered as instructed, we replace it free.
Do you do regular mowing and garden maintenance?
We maintain a small list of regular clients, and the book is nearly full. If you're after ongoing maintenance, get in touch and we'll let you know honestly whether we can fit you in.
